Publication Ethics

Publication ethics are a set of standards that must be adhered to by every author submitting scientific work to the Journal of Green Civilization. These ethics are grounded in the principles of morality, scientific integrity, and honesty.

Core Principles:

  1. Morality: Authors must distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate behavior in academic writing.

  2. Scientific Integrity: Authors must uphold the principles and truth of science, and not compromise them for personal or institutional gain.

  3. Honesty: Authors must present data and findings truthfully and avoid any unethical practices in research and writing.

Ethical Guidelines Authors Must Follow:

  1. Authors must uphold scientific conduct and understand the potential benefits, implications, and risks of their published work.

  2. Submissions must be free from unethical practices, including:

    • Fabrication (creating false data),

    • Falsification (manipulating data), and

    • Plagiarism/self-plagiarism (copying others’ or one’s own previous work without proper attribution).

  3. Authors are required to provide adequate citations for all statements, ideas, or data that are not their original work.

  4. Articles must not cause conflicts of interest or pose potential harm to society.

  5. Only individuals who have made a significant contribution to the research may be listed as authors on the article.
